In this article, we will show you how to create and delegate ADA to a pool.
Delegation is simple and easy.
Let’s take the example below with our pool (ticker : NOOPS).
To begin choose the simple interface, you can skip the Payments URLS and click on “Create wallet”.
Then, choose your favorite currency : “₳ Cardano”
Click on “Create Wallet”.
Choose a wallet name (only visible by you, no need to be fancy) and a password.
Click on “create personnal wallet”
So far so good. Now, you have to choose a recovery phrase.
Your recovery phrase is the only backup to your crypto assets and can be used to restore access to them.
Your 15 random words must be kept secured. It’s important to never type or snap it on a computer or smartphone and to never share it with anyone.
It’s important to write down your recovery phrase correctly. Don’t worry you have to test your recovery phrase to create your wallet.
Your wallet is created.
You can see your wallet address. This address is required to send and receive ADA.
Find the stake pool Ticker of your favorite pool in the delegation list. It’s ok if you delegate to another pool we will not be sad. NOOPS donate 50% of operator rewards to UNICEF.
Click on the “Delegate” button.
The popup confirms that you have successfully delegated your ADA to the pool.
